Court Street's Karloff Closes for a Facelift

This sign appeared on the window of Karloff, the Eastern European comfort food cafe at 256 Court Street: “Sorry for inconvenience. We will be closed for facelift, menu change, and kitchen upgrades to serve you better for times to come. Thank you and we will see you soon!” Sounds like a serious makeover! Wonder if the biz, which opened about two years ago, is ditching the Eastern European or the communal table theme. Any ideas on what could make it better?
