It looks like most of the historical charm was stripped from this one-bedroom at 688 St. Marks Avenue in Crown Heights and replaced by run-of-the-mill finishes. Too bad, because the apartment appears totally spacious but doesn’t have a ton of appeal beyond that. The unit rented this past December for $1,700 and came back to the market for $2,300.
