This new listing at 67 Adelphi Street is a real diamond in the rough. From the outside, let’s face it, it looks like the last place in the world you’d want to live, but the interior photos reveal a quite beautiful, albeit run-down, house. Given all the work this place will need, combined with its proximity to the BQE (and The Verdi!), we’re not sure the $750,000 asking price is low enough, but it does look like this could be quite an exciting restoration project for the right eager beaver.

  1. Beneath the asphalt siding is probably the original siding. This would be a fascinating restoration project. The end result would be a New England style cottage. The question is whether the location could sustain such an investment. Someone should buy the house and move it to the vacant lot at 27 Cranberry Street where the LPC nixed a new house last week.
