Site Freezing or Crashing?

Oh, meant to add that the forum and the restaurant guide is the slowest part of the site. Pure torture sometimes waiting for it to load.
I’m having issues with slow downs as well. I’m using a MacBook that’s running 10.6.3 and Firefox 3.6.3
Much slower since update.
Very often freezes temoprarily (for 10 seconds).
Have had 2 or 3 crashes from Brownstoner, and I otherwise never have crashes.
When I post, sometimes I get an “error” message, and my post is lost.
Frustrating.
I use internet explorer on a PC.
Hey Jon I will give a log-in to asshathill.com and you can see how it’s done.
My Site is BLAZING FAST! No hiccups!

Yeah — I always wondered about the random log off. It used to be around noon, but now it’s earlier. Is there a 24 hrs time-out or something?
I’ve got in the habit of Ctrl+C a longer post before clicking post because I’ve had the unhappy experience of it being lost to the “You must be logged in” gods.
Otherwise, it seems to be running well. Both on PC at work and Mac at home. (Firefox, both)
Yes, slower, shaky, computer makes rattling noises inside only when on this site. Really sorry to say I don’t like the new site content, format or spirit-wise.
The only issue I have is that in the morning, all of a sudden I’m logged off at some point. Additionally, the Search feature is not working.
Avatars would be fun.
Since the update, pages load much slower. In the past, when I went back after reading comments on a specific posting, the page opened immediately. Now, I wait at least for a slow count of 6 before I’m back where I was. But I haven’t had any crashes or other problems. I’m using Firefox on a PC. Good luck!
“Thanks for the input but you’ll excuse us if we don’t take advice from a guy with three visitors to his site.”
You need Brownstoner to make a living, for me it’s fun.
Frownstoner and Asshathill runs like a dream. No crashes, freezes or Blow- ups.
My sites can handle heavy loads can yours? Your CMS sucks the shaft (Moveable Type)!
