Reading Montrose’s post today, we couldn’t help but think of this photo we took on our boat ride yesterday of an old fort outside Positano (a view of which is included on the jump). It’s now been converted to a five-star hotel. Not too shabby!

We were here for our honeymoon 5 years ago. Beautiful place.
These posts are actually completely appropriate to this blog: Positano has a very small year-round population because back in the 1860s, three-quarters of the population up and moved to … wait for it… yup, Brooklyn.
