Jessi, did you have that much family time growing up in the burbs? I didn’t. My mother used to throw us out of the house to get fresh air (and to get out of her hair I am sure!).
I only have a facebook account because everyone says you need one for business and I also need to stay in touch with the WTC/MtSinai group. I am friends with a lot of different people, including several very right wing folk who I consider it an hone to be friends with.
I would never defriend them ofr their different opinions. The only person I defriended was someone who was a good friend and hired me to do graphic design work for her and then never paid me. And ignored my emails.
slopefarm, there are a couple of discussions. One for which I’d relish your participation is that Jessi said she thought it was not right to raise a kid in the city unless you had a weekend/country home. Wish Biff was here!
slopefarm, I let my daughter go on facebook in seventh grade. She was 12.5 at the beginning of the school year. She has a lot of friends from a lot of different social circles (elementary school, middle school, China adoption, chorus, camp, etc.) and it was just a way to connect easily with all of them. No bullying issues (that I know of, and I think she would have told me when she was in middle school).
The OT tech manual, for PLUSAs. You can tech talk down to us- it will help 🙂

Nah- FB will just upset you. Borrow Legion’s updated OT manual with the new tech section. BTW- did BHS write that?
really? I’ve never had trouble with that. Could be your browser settings?

Yes it does, slopey. You click on the line that says “in reply to” on the lower left hand side of the post.

Don’t faint but I agree with that.
