  1. And I have been VERY careful to explain exactly what I mean. I can’t help it if others want to interpret it in another way- I have no control over that. But I am very clear on exactly what I was saying. I consider many of the people who cannot post as friends and they should know me enough to know that the technological issues are bothering me as well. That still has nothing to do with whether or not Jon made a really nice gesture of giving us the OT to play in. Especially since he is doing his dam ndest to get it working again. But take that as you see fit.

  2. It’s a spin someone else put on it- not me. If you want to promote that, fine with me. You’re not the only one who wants to hold onto the community but seeing as the posting problem is site wide, not just limited to the OT, I’m not promoting any unintended effects and I don’t appreciate you trying to say I am. Don’t assume you know how I feel or what I intended because yo keep proving otherwise.

  3. Excuse me, slopefarm, but if dona can articulate her point that the OT is not a gift, why is it not ok for me to say it is? And again, whether or not the OT is a gift or not, still has nothing to do with the fact that people can’t comment or read posts. I have complained about the commenting system, I have spoken to them, I have been in touch with K about problems just as CGar. They are 2 separate issues if and people want to take offense at my saying the OT is a gift and misinterpreting my take on it, so be it. They’re entitled to be wrong.

  4. And I’ve stated before my position has nothing to do with the fact that I am as anxious as you are to have the PLUSAS back. It is impolitic of you to misrepresent what I said because whether or not there is an OT the problem for those who want to post here would still be the same. Frankly i think my attitude is more constructive than the belief that brownstoner actually revolves around Plusas. Many of us were posting on brownstoner long before there was an OT.
