listen, if its not people dressed up as lions and giraffes, or a musical comedy about a witch or a flying nanny, it’s avant garde.
I don’t know where they would go. theater people tend to be…dramatic. They would probably not want to share. Shame. I will be surprised if two years from now half of these venues will be in the red. It’s not like restaurants. Everybody likes to eat but not everybody enjoys avant garde theater.
is there any indication that St Ann’s Warehouse will relocate to this area now that they have to leave DUMBO?

I hope all of these new theaters and performance spaces will be able to draw sufficient number of ticket buyers to remain solvent. It seems like an oversupply of stages suddenly.
