Gotta make at least $72K if you’re paying $2,500 in rent. In fact, you gotta make a lot more.
Standing in line to vote this morning made me love Park Slope more than ever. The line was incredibly long and everyone seemed totally psyched to stand in it. I was especially proud of my neighborhood today.
i will say one good thing ive noticed about park slope in general. people tend to not be obnoxious about their wealth.. which is refreshing.

Yeah… so how could I earn $72k “on average”? Could I just get that for a year? I’d go back to my current salary right after.
2400 for a duplex on 1st street and 5th ave. not a bad rent at ALL. my share is 1200 but i was paying just 800 before in harlem all utilities included. now it’s 1200 + utilities + a dog walker monday – friday cuz my roommmate has a dog that needs to get walked during the day cuz she is old and we think it would be mean to my dog if he didnt get walked too. im hurtin’. but so are a lot of people i guess. this chile needs to quit smoking actually. that would be a HUUGE savings.

rob – whats your rent?
“go round and ask the neighbors to spread some of their wealth to you, they’re all for it.”
ditto – that was funny shit!
I’d like to see stats broken down by zip codes!
I’d be interested to see stats broken down by neighborhood. I don’t know how much, say, Brooklyn Heights has in common with Prospect Heights.
