This house at 643 Jefferson, configured as a four-family, closed Thursday for just under $1.3 million in an all-cash deal, according to Marna Spizz and Hakim Edwards of Halstead Property, who brokered the sale. It was a House of the Day back in August, when we said we were amazed by the $1.45 million ask, considering at the time only a few unusual properties in Stuy Heights had ever gone for over a mil. The house had changed hands in 2006 for $655,000 and in 2007 for $665,000. Commenters said they didn’t like the renovation and thought it was overpriced. Well, looks like it went for slightly more than a couple of premier properties located on Stuyvesant Avenue. The record, though, is still Barbara Corcoran’s purchase of 408 Stuyvesant Avenue for $1,460,000 in 2008.
