my family is being evicted from a rental for the second time in three years because the homeowner is cashing out and selling the building. We’d happily live in any area: Cobble, Carroll or Park Slope (5th ave.) at this point (post if you know of a larger 2/3 br rental than what is depicted here for a move in date of anytime from now until July.) Thx!
i don’t live in park slope 1:31.
Its because of people like 1:22, that everyone picks on Park Slope. Your the type of person that thinks their sh*t don’t stink. Get real and get over yourself. Your not god’s gift to mankind because you live in Park Slope. So stop this neighborhood bickering. Both of these neighborhoods have desirable qualities and shortcomings.
listen…if you people from carroll gardens have things you want to add about these dumpy rentals, who’s stopping you?
are you that weak that you’ll let the slopers overtake you? maybe that’s why people prefer it. you caroll gardens people are so passive and weak.
start talking about these gorgeous rentals then if you’re sick of the slopers.
jeez. carroll gardens seems like a neighborhood filled with sissy bottoms.
Another thread Slopejacked.
Never not gotten a seat on the Q ever, I don’t think.
But I work in the arts and have a later start to the day than most.
Is it bad in the early mornings?
Even on my way home around 6 I always get a seat at 42nd.
When you can fit on the Q it’s great.
The Q Train is 4 stops from Park Slope to Union Square and 6 stops to 42nd.
Half hour to midtown, door to door.
Best train in the city with a gorgeous view via Manhattan Bridge on the way to work.
Totally with 12:34. The limping F train vs. a handful of stop on the Q from 42nd to the North Slope? No contest.
