I was going to ask Emily to stop using the term “starter apartment” but I’ve been beaten to the punch. Okay, I’ll say it anyway.
Emily, it’s insulting to many of us. There are many people who read this blog who are not wealthy. We do not consider our apartments (which are well under $2400 a month) places to rent, and then move on from when we become rich. Most of us will never become rich. Most Americans will never be rich. We are experiencing a real estate bubble. Rents are sky-high and it hurts most people, rather than helping. Thank you.
