It’s a lot to take in, but we’re focused on those wood floors and the backyard, both of which are very nice. The whole package is FRBO at $2,800/month, which is pretty darn steep considering the transportation issues that inevitably come with renting a Red Hook apartment. Think it’ll fly, though?

But who wants a refrigerator and a washing machine in their living room? They could have added a half wall/counter at least. for that kind of rent.
The pluses are that you can do your own laundry and there is outdoor space. But I think the price would have to come down about 400-500. Of course, if you have car, the shitty transportation isn’t as much of an issue.
what is going on with this place? It’s fugly (and I speak as one who loves exposed brick). And the layout? ugh. Are those cheapie Ikea closets in the bedroom? And pocket doors- that look even cheaper?
Pricing? Not for this.
Me too- there are some open plans, in a great industrial loft that work. This design here? not at all.
