Summer’s around the corner, which makes the 1,100-square-foot terrace at this two-bedroom penthouse unit at 190 North 14th Street sound quite appealing. The Williamsburg apartment also has huge windows facing the outdoor space. And while the kitchen isn’t huge, it looks pretty slick. Not a bad pad at all, but the price tag comes in at a steep $5,350 a month. Worth it?

  1. It looks amazing; but anyone spending $5,350/month had better be making at least $300,000 a year. If you’re making less than that and spending this much, you’re throwing money out the window.

If you’re making $300k, you should really be buying a home, not renting a bachelor pad.
