A private terrace also adds 300 or so square feet of space. But slick looking rentals in Dumbo don’t come for cheap. Think it’ll fetch the ask of $2,525 a month?

I am a resident at 100 Jay Street and I have seen this apartment, its great and you don’t hear the train on the terrace, because its on the east side of the bldg and the bridge is on the west side.
If most people know the building, then they would know that the large terraces are only on the 4th floor. Anyone looking for a good building with the best amenities would do J Condo.
Rob – you are totally wrong on that. As pointed out by tybur6, dishwashers get them cleaner and they use less water than washing by hand. Plus dishwashing soap is a lot stronger the the stuff you use in the sink. Also you don’t need to prewash anything. Scrape and load, prewash is a waste of water and time and totally unnecessary.

It’s pretty DUMBOish, ‘Sloper. On the edge but definitely down under Manhattan Bridge overpass.
rob – Clear the excess food/grease with brush under hot water. Then load. Faster than actually washing and hand drying dishes. Who does what you described?!

This is just about a perfect studio, at a good price given the amenities and outdoor space. About the only flaw I can see is the view from the terrace. What’s that location like? It’s not really DUMBO, not really downtown Brooklyn, is it?
dishwashers are guh-ross. there’s nothing better than hand washing to really get it clean. plus not washing your dishes immediate after youre done eating and just storing them in a dishwasher is pretty gross too.
