What do you think of renting as opposed to buying this one?

@tybur6 $1,325 isn’t too high for an even share. It might be too high for that neighborhood.
“Nomi- I myself reversed swing a number of time back in college.”
Thanks. I’ll keep that in mind.
BWRon- Used to be 100% normal, but now not so much.
A closer inspection of the fridge does not indicate if the swing can be reversed, but does reveal that the pantry door also swings the wrong way. Maybe it doesn’t matter, because at this rent, the place would include a private chef to deal with it.

DH — trust me, I know. I’m about a year from having to move to a farther-flung neighborhood. Or going with the “If you don’t like it, leave!”
Nomi, totally disagree with your bathroom thing.
I can’t imagine NOT sacrificing the amount of space one could only reasonably use for, say, a large closet or a table and chair with a reading lamp, for a second bathroom (sorry for the double negative, but it was the only way to phrase my thoughts 😉
With guests, kids, etc., only one bathroom? No thanks!
I considered looking at it — to rent. To buy, it would have to be considerably cheaper. On the plus side, love the location and the layout looks interesting.
$525K and I think it’d sell.
They should raise the asking price so they could justify a higher rent, or vice versa
it’s better to rent this baby than to buy it for 600k
Scudder-
I have a fairly new LG, and it can be done with some of their models. I just figured it was a regular thing.
