agree with ditmas about the tax deductions both on the mortgage and the fees.
We have a friend in this building and there is nothing ghetto about it – the doormen and building staff are very friendly and helpful. The block, while facing the Prospect Expressway, is very nice, if a bit noisy. It’s 2 minutes by bike to Prospect Park.
> i live in the north slope for much less
You live in an 800sf apartment on a high floor in a full-service elevator building in the North Slope for much less than $1650/month?
Can you hook me up?!?!?!
looks fairly overpriced and charmless to me — except for a few touches of charm in the kitchen. i live in the north slope for much less and don’t have to take the G train.
Ditmas snark is correct, no name change.
i dont care if they are called alligator hustlers, they are still overkill for a building as fug and ghetto as this one.

No, I’m pretty sure they’re called doormen.
Doormen for buildings this low rent looking is total overkill. oh i forgot are they even called doormen anymore? they arent, they are called lifestyle managers :-/
id rather live in the gowanus houses

> I’ll wait
And every month you wait is another month of rent gone forever.
