(The kitchen also looks like a bit of a bummer.) What do you think?
4 Parkside Court [Douglas Elliman] GMAP P*Shark
This one rented really quickly. Does anyone on this site know what they are talking about when it comes to rental prices or this neighborhood? I bet the people who jumped on it are thrilled at the bargain they got.
I wasn’t being a mere booster, just uninformed about this exact location. Which means I should have not said anything! But it’s true a lot of hopeful renters are looking in this neighborhood and relatively not that many apts become available.
FLH,
The last time I passed the building I didn’t notice any evidence that work was being done; given Fried’s track record that might be a good thing.
Oh, Boarded up house…we thought you said whore house.
Bob, has there been any development with the Moses Fried plan to actually do work on that building? Or is it still boarded up?
There ARE some nice houses on Parkside Court, but I share my friend “Brooklynista’s concern, especially since Moses Fried’s proposed “apartment hotel” (whore house?) is on the corner of Parkside Ct. & Parkside Ave.
As a certified PLG booster who lives not far from Parkside Court, I have to put my hip, hip hoorays aside on this one. In good conscience, I would not recommend Parkside Court to anyone. And especially not at 2br at $2k.
The kitchen is not ok for a rental at 2000$ month. It’s useless.
Parkside Court is actually a cul de sac off Parkside Avenue, between Flatbush and Ocean; it’s a private street that doesn’t show up on some maps.
