The original beams are a nice touch, matched with the exposed brick and the huge window. At 663 square feet, though, it has some compromises to contend with: the kitchen is practically non-existent, and there’s room upstairs for not much more than a bed. Do you think it’ll fetch the asking rent of $2,200 a month?

I live in the building, and I really can’t imagine a better place to live. It’s quiet, very well maintained, has an elevator, central heat/AC, and is only 1 block from Smith St. I promise this is not my unit, but I think the price is worth the amenities.
It looks like a doll house, kida fake….and I do not mean it as in cute.
the furniture is awful, as the layout.
Ridiculous price, but they’ll probably get it. (There’s a lot of sadness in my words)
Absolutely ridiculous. I wouldn’t rent this for any price.
I used to rent a floor-through one bedroom in Carroll Gardens for $1900 and that was bad enough. At least it was all on one floor.
Yes. Easily.
They’ll probably get it. It’s a block and a half from the subway and Smith St and the building is nice.

a buddy of mine has slightly smaller duplex unit as this in murray hill and he rents it out for 1800. this is expensive.
but the 2 bathroom is nice nice luxury

To avoid middle of the night trips down that spiral staircase?
