It’s been branded the Fulton Street Lofts, and Aptsandlofts.com is marketing its five studio and one-bedroom units for between $269,000 and $399,000. From the firm’s description of the building: “The 940 Fulton Street Lofts pair original historic details with new vintage style finishes to offer you a uniquely lux-rustic lifestyle. Every element within these loft residences has been crafted to recapture the past.” Anyhow, this is a huge improvement from when the building was a blight on the block. What do you think? Gut Reno Time at 940 Fulton [Brownstoner] GMAP
Most of it does look nice but the kitchen is a killer. MM- the kitchen has full size appliances including a full size dishwasher so the island basically has the sink, the dishwasher and maybe a small cabinet for storage. The other kitchen in the second apt. I saw pictures for, looks even worse.
I would install new cupboards on the wall above the fridge/stove.
Also I would get a breakfront or china cabinet for the living area. The kitchen is small but nice enough for a studio.
Nothing helps the interior. This kitchen pictured is a bit better than the one I saw in another apartment- absolutely no storage space. All big appliances. The shelves are decorative. Dumbest kitchen I’ve ever seen.
Nice new cornice. It makes all the difference.
Isn’t that the dumbest looking thing? Makes no sense design wise.
