Babs, you are correct. It’s between Pacific and Atlantic. Great rehab job of a long abandoned huge house. It’s next door to the much discussed and trashed “mini mansion” that was in the Forum section.
He bought it five years ago for 600k and put about 300k in renovation that’s a great investment 1.289 in five years!!!!
but it went to contract in Oct so even if it did close in Jan, it is more indicative of the Fall 2005 market than May 2006

I was wondering if this would sell close to asking. I’m not sure if it’s any indication of the market really, because it was a particularily special house with that great artist’s studio out back. The lot is so big too. It feels damn near park like in the back.
He probably closed at the beginning of January as I remember.
