Among the glories of this upper triplex in a five-story Park Slope brownstone is an original bathroom with marble slabs and a striking stained glass window. There is also original woodwork, mantels, a laundry room and a second full bathroom.

The unit is located at 865 President Street in the historic district close to Grand Army Plaza. The apartment does not include the parlor floor but rather the two bedroom floors above and a finished attic with sloping walls set back and not visible from the street.

The parlor-level entry is private, according to the listing, from agent Paul Zumoff of R New York. There are high ceilings, elaborate dark woodwork and two wood mantels with original tile in the unit’s living room and dining room. The center kitchen is modern with composite stone counters, white cupboards and a dishwasher.

On the same floor is an impressive original bathroom with clawfoot tub and original marble console sink surrounded by marble slabs, hex tile floor, bead board and period medicine cabinet. The handsome stained glass window depicts a bird flying over reeds and water lilies.

Upstairs are two large bedrooms with wood floors with inlaid borders, an office, numerous closets, a modern full bathroom with tub and separate shower, and a laundry room. The top floor contains two more large bedrooms and additional storage, but no bathroom.

The house has been owned by the same family since at least 1977, property records show, and the apartment is available for a two-year lease. It can be viewed in person at a by-appointment open house this Saturday.
