Montrose Morris: these are 11th graders who are supposedly on grade level for reading and writing. The student in question speaks Chinese at home and English is her second language, but several years ago she exceeded whatever standards the NYC DOE has in its program for non-native English speakers, so she is not eligible for classes focusing on basic grammar, vocabulary, etc.
OK, I have a fashion question. What is your look for spring?
“This spring I will ‘look’ in my closet, whatever still fits on my fat ass, I will wear.”
LOL! Likewise…and then I will…
“Reprise” my last years Fall & Spring clothes. I will look the same as I always look, although some of the colors will be lighter. More pink, white, light grey, tan. Less black, brown, red.
Friends: no time to do anything but skim portions of the OT today, so maybe an answer has been posted already. SixYears: first “digest” covers Joe Hill’s song “The Preacher and the Slave”, more commonly known as “Pie in the Sky.” If looking for more diversion, try this very Japanese game site (if you want to cheat, you can find English explanations on the site, too): http://flashfabrica.com/f_learning/brain/brain.html
To play: 1. Click on Start
2. Wait for the count 3, 2 and 1
3. Remember the locations of numbers on the screen and click on the circles starting from the smallest to the biggest number.
4. At the end of the game the computer tells you the age of your brain (if not your body).
BTW, I detest natto, which tastes, looks and smells like pre-eaten chewing tobacco.
BRG…I just found out that one of my best friends grew up on “Doctor’s Row” in Bay Ridge. He’s Chinese and we worked together for about 3 years. I knew he was born in brooklyn but never knew where.
BRG….Lunch I had chicken fingers with garlic mash potatoes. Dinner, prolly going out with a friend to Picket Fence in my nabe (Been featured here a couple of times).
I will respond to either DIBS or dibs. Ghetto Asshats can’t be all that choosy.
calling me KEN is fine.
