Elaboration on the Lefferts crime issues? Apart from checking stats is this perceived or real.
How could Dean St. be overpriced when you’re in Brooklyn’s Film Colony? You’ll be having movie stars over for dinner weekly. Isn’t that worth $2mm alone?
Like the country/farmhouse look of dining area for 90 Dean Street. Its hard to account for the prices in this neighborhood; it can vary greatly from block to block.
We thought Winthrop was a beautiful building…
Thoughts on 90 Dean St? Inside looks nice to me. Do people think it is overpriced? what would be a fairer price?
Re: Comments on Rapelye…overpriced by $400k? where you going to find house This Size under $1.5 even in shambles in Carrol Gardens? Yes, old detail missing but mechanicals all replaced , and HVAC.
Downer is taxes are going to double (to more than $6k) because of changing CofO to 2 family.
Mr. B:
Question: why can’t you pick some of the nicer homes in PLG for this site so people can see that the nabe has an interesting mix–not just crappy stuff like the Winthrop Street house? By doing so, this will give folks interested in the nabe more options and a better overview of the community, particularly Lefferts Manor. That’s really where the majority of newcomes want to be.
“Between” Park Slope and Ditmas Park? Um, not really — he doesn’t sound likeable to me, just someone who knows absolutely nothing about geography. Additionally, the fact that there is not one interior shot doesn’t seem too promising, although it’s good to know that the house does seem to have the requisite number of electric meters.
Its a good point about colony, crouchback, tho I think each set of actors has been working to multiply…
