That’s great that you’re happy. Just be careful about calling PLG icky on this site or you’ll start World War III.
I’m confused about the kitchen in the Bay Ridge House. Where is it in relation to the dining room? On the virtual tour you can see a refrigerator in the dining room but not the kitchen.
Actually, I was being totally genuine and serious. We’re about to put our coop on the market and we’ve started looking for places but have not liked any of the areas we could afford. I hadn’t seen anything the center slope for under 1.6. This is acctually doable for us. So I’m happy.
that kind of sarcasm doesn’t translate very well in this medium
That makes me so happy! I thought we’d have to move to SP or PLG or some other icky place, but now we’ll be able to afford to stay in the slope. Thank God.
526 psf is within the ball park.
The PS house is in line with other listings on that part of 6th Ave. The houses on the avenue there are for the most part not as large as those on the side streets. I think there are a couple others on the market right there for about 1.5
Has anyone seen the Corcoran house on 4th St. that they say is being offered at a “discount price”? (Sale on Brownstones! 25% off today only!)
Yes, 1.45. It doesn’t look to bad, either. If you can get a decent 2,700 square foot house on 6th and 6th for 1.4, why would anyone even consider the same priced homes in all those fringe areas?
