  1. Thanks for the information on the Crown Heights house. I was almost thinking of going over to see it as the pics look so nice. I had a feeling there was a catch.

Don’t know much about crown heights but would like to. Does anyone know a real estate agent who knows the area?

  2. I know that house- the linoleum is in fact Forbo linoleum- probably more expensive than wood flooring. It was used only in the kids bedrooms with insulation underneath so that you don’t hear them moving around above your heads. Next time you go to see a house with wood floors- stand on the floor below and have someone walk around. Then decide.
The rest of that floor is done in bamboo and really beautiful tile. And yes, high end fixtures- grohe sink, Ultra bath spas, steam shower, double controled light fixtures, intercom and the house was completely gutted. My neighbor did a lot of things to that house that we all should learn from.

  3. Some linoleum is very nice and quite expensive. Unlike tiles, the good stuff, properly installed, doesn’t crack and there’s no grout which could get loose.

I highly recommend high grade linoleum for high end kitchen and bathroom floors.
