I really like the 7th Street house. Will someone buy it for me?
I clicked on here expecting and hoping to read a witticism or two from DitmasSnark.
What gives? Does he have Fridays off?
So Alan bernstein realty Services’ only website is brownstoner???
$3.45 Million and Ac units in the windows…only in NYC
Agreed that properties in CH/CG/BH seem to be in hot demand — but that demand seems spotty and very much focused on the more renovated end of the spectrum. Fancy houses (e.g., 210 Bergen) go like hotcakes for high prices, while homes that need more work or may have issues (e.g., 142 Dean) seem to sit.
not too impressive a bunch above.
Two things Tompkins does have going for it: Deep lot (112″ according to PropertyShark) and a crazy shortage of inventory in Cobble Hill/Carroll Gardens. According to a broker, the narrow (16″) Clinton St. OH pick a few weeks ago asking $2.6 mil sold for ask. Granted, that house was renovated, but the renovations were no great shakes. Not saying this puppy’s worth $3.4, but I am surprised at what inventory in this nabe has been going for lately.
As per Google, Tompkins is the residence of Alan Berstein so it is indeed FSBO…you wouldn’t expect a lower asking price from a realtor selling its own property, however you would expect a nicer listing
The 7th St. house seems very small — in terms of total square footage seems only half the size of the President St. house.
Reading comp.
Was is.
