> I saw a pillow in the master bedroom that read, “A mother is a best friend…”
Oh. My. God. The broker is clueless or twisted.
All that wood on DeKalb, nice but wasted on me. TOO DARK.
They could always rent it for location if they ever do a remake of Oliver Twist. “more rice, sir”?
Fuller Place (essentially like Howard Pl, slightly better b/c not across from the school) recently had a 1.4 sale, but that place was in perfect condition and no murders.
“so what is top price any of these Howard places went for?”
the house next door sold for 1.370 in 2007 fwiw
the history of this house will demand a serious discount….only time will tell.
I looked at the Howard Place house, and feel that it’s way overpriced. If it were mint, it might be able to fetch that. As is, it needs ALL the wallpaper steamed off, new bathrooms, and an updated kitchen (not particle board cabinets). I thought I’d be able to handle its tragic history, but then I saw a pillow in the master bedroom that read, “A mother is a best friend,” and my heart just broke. I hope one of the agents is reading this and removes it for the next showing. Incredibly poor taste.
The 14th St people are smoking crack. Waaaay too close to 4th ave, and no good schools.
Also does the Howard Place House really need 3 agents working on it?
plus it’s over-priced for the work one would have to do to it -not to mention the gruesome history of it – again over-priced
E17th St 1st floor unit gets the deck & garden, and #2 doesn’t. Is the whole house worth the combined price of the units $1.4 ?
Seems unusual for the neighborhood.
Well I am chary of the Fiske Condo b/c there are no pics of a kitchen or bathroom, so I think $749K is too high of a price
the 14th street house – OH COME ON! – 1.6million for that? what are people thinking in the south slope right now? I mean seriously! Yes, it’s big and you have lots of space and it doesn’t seem to need any renovations but not at 1.6million – Price it at 1.3 and watch it fly for about 1.275
> The other unit is 1400 sq ft and asking $675K.
Sorry, but $675k for 2br in this neighborhood is batsh*t crazy.
