Top 10 Brooklyn Real Estate Listings: From an 1824 Federal to a Contemporary With a Smart Toilet

Among our most popular listings this week were several notable properties. A contemporary new-construction townhouse in Wallabout got lots of looks, presumably for its many unusual features, including a snow-melting system and a smart toilet/bidet.

Also favored was a classic Prospect Lefferts Gardens brownstone with outstanding woodwork and lots of other historic goodies. One of the oldest houses in Brooklyn Heights, a wood-framed Federal at 24 Middagh Street, also captured attention.

The majority of listings were for whole houses, but a few condos and co-ops snuck into the mix. There was also a great deal of variation in price, from $849,000 to $7 million.
