Remember 396 Dean Street, the new Park Slope building with a variety brick, tiles, and balconies? The two-family was on the market for $2,850,000 last fall, with brokers calling it a “brownstone,” and it just sold for $2,440,000, according to public records. Shocked or not? Whatever one thinks of the aesthetics, not a bad price for a building close to 4th Avenue and thus not even in prime Slope.
