1. CLINTON HILL $3,800,000
380 Clinton Avenue GMAP
Last week’s biggest sale got its very own post, considering this Clinton Hill mansion has been on the market since 2009 and was priced down from $5,500,000. The 9,200-square-foot house is on a 13,500-square-foot lot and comes with a carriage house fronting Vanderbilt Avenue. It was previously a teen center, now it’ll make some pretty nice digs. You can see a few interior shots here. Entered into contract on 10/25/10; closed on 4/5/11; deed recorded on 4/21/2011.

2. DUMBO $2,625,000
100 Jay Street, #31D GMAP
We’ve looked at quite a few condos at 100 Jay, or the J Condo, but not #31D. StreetEasy isn’t giving much away, but this is one of the bigger sales the Dumbo development has had in awhile. Entered into contract on 1/21/11; closed on 4/1/2011; deed recorded on 4/21/11.

3. FORT GREENE $2,095,000
1 Hanson Place, 28A GMAP
This unit is a 2,848 square foot, three bed, two and a half bath home. It was on the market in 2008 for a whopping $4,095,000 and the listing was pulled in 2010. It came back priced at $2,595,000, was cut to $2,245,000, and then sold a few months later. 50 percent off the original ask, not bad! Units at One Hanson are not long for this world, as next month the remaining condos will go to auction… Entered into contract on 2/24/2011; closed on 4/7/2011; deed recorded on 4/21/11.

4. WILLIAMSBURG $1,873,580
34 North 7th Street, #9F GMAP
There isn’t much dirt out on this condo unit from the Williamsburg development The Edge. The apartment sold with an extra storage space. Entered into contract on 3/11/2011; closed on 4/5/2011; deed recorded on 4/20/11.

5. CARROLL GARDENS $1,860,000
436 Clinton Street GMAP
When 436 Clinton was a HOTD, we didn’t think the price tag of $1,795,000 sounded too crazy, especially since the rear addition is convertible into a two-car garage. (It was originally priced at $2M.) Some commenters thought the price was about right, others weighed in that the home needed some work. But in the end, looks like they were able to sell over ask. Entered into contract on 2/24/2011; closed on 4/8/11; deed recorded on 4/20/11.

  1. landlord69 – I was inside 436 Clinton a couple of times. Garden level was a professional (doctor?) office and 2-fam config upstairs. Not quite a gut reno candidate but close. Very dark inside due to less than ideal current layout.
