This three-bedroom on Dahill Road in Kensington is unusually spacious, with large and well-lit common spaces. And it’s got some nice prewar detail as well. It’d work for a family or would be a prime share for three roommates.
Said details include archways, parquet floors and moldings. The built-in bookshelves in the living room are a nice addition.
On top of the large living room, there’s a dining room, an eat-in kitchen, and an additional dining or office space to boot. Like we said, a lot of common space.
Bedrooms are in the rear. None are pictured, but they’re all of respectable size, with a closet in each. There’s a half-bath in addition to the main bathroom, which has some nice old-school black and white floor tiling.
The large terrace is a plus. It’s concrete and brick, and looks out onto Dahill Road, so it’s not exactly a landscaped oasis, but it’s still nice to have — and it’s large enough to house a bocci court.
The rent includes gas as well as heat and hot water, and the F and G trains are a block away. Prospect Park’s not ultra-close, but it’s a 10-minute walk or a quick bike ride.
The broker is Ilisa Crosby of Douglas Elliman, and our guess is she won’t sweat to hard to find takers at $3,750 a month. What do you think?

Sunset Park Two-Bedroom With Details in Brick Victorian Asks $2,100 Per Month
Good setup for roommates, with the one who won’t be able to fit end tables around his or her bed deserving a steep discount. Nice details too. It’s a classy place. But the ‘hood has zero amenities, not even a decent grocery store. Not only is Prospect Park hella far–“10 minutes” is simply false–but here’s no green space anywhere to cheer up the landscape.
10 minutes to prospect part? Nah. it’s almost a mile away. google says 17 minutes at best, and that’s not accounting for the trafficky hell-hole that is the prospect expway. I’d rather save a grand or so and live the same distance from the park in the center of Flatbush (not victorian flatbush)
Those are some narrow bedrooms.
