Brooklyn’s first J.Crew is coming to Cobble Hill — specifically, the two-story building at 151 Court Street, near Pacific. The Real Deal reports that the clothing retailer plans to take 2,349 square feet over the ground, lower level and second floor. (The asking rent for the entire space was $520,000 annually.) There is no word on the move-in date, but J.Crew joins several other chains like Trader Joe’s, Urban Outfitters, Barneys Co-Op, and Armani Exchange in the neighborhood — although J.Crew has long been rumored to have been eyeing space in Williamsburg. It appears the popular greengrocer on the corner, Pacific Green, will have to move.
