The folks over at Curbed bring us news that One Brooklyn Bridge Park, the warehouse-turned-luxury-condos (and now rentals), is handing out cars with units priced over $2 million, along with a parking spot to berth it. And this isn’t the first luxury development to launch such a campaign, apparently: Windows on 123 in Harlem and 727 Prospect Place in Prospect Heights have both offered internal combustion engines to lure buyers. Curbed points out that the Audi A4 lists in the low $30,000s, which might be beneath any buyers who are capable of dropping $2 million on a condominium, but let those marketers try. GMAP

  1. the units facing the water are special – how special (pricey) is up for debate. The ones facing BQE is the exact opposite (no view, lousy air quality, long trek to subways,…). Think they need to price the units as such – try to hold on units facing the water and fire sale the ones facing bqe. the monthly mainenance is big nut too.
