The Dumbo building at 60 and 62 John Street (between Jay and Bridge streets) was snatched up for $7 million in an all-cash transaction, according to Massey Knakal. And lo and behold, exciting plans are already in place for this building, which has frontage on both John and Plymouth. (We’ve previously referred to this project as 185 Plymouth.) The developers responsible for 192 Water Street will turn this into a ten-unit condo building. The plans were approved by landmarks in October, although it doesn’t look like work’s started up yet. (Work was expected to begin in November.) Construction is in full swing a few doors down at 193 Plymouth Street, where yet another residential conversion is planned. You can see a picture of that building after the jump.
