This listing at 1917 Newkirk Avenue in Ditmas Park sure is a looker. The original details are stunning–the coffered ceilings and paneled dining room are particularly impressive–and the covered driveway is a nice bonus too. The house originally came on the market last December for $1,375,000 and got pulled from the market in August. It’s just come back on now with a new price of $999,500. The house is so impressive that we can only assume that the fact that it’s across from apartment buildings has been hurting its chances.

  1. Ramshackle?
Someone needs to look up the definition of that word.
This house looks stunningly beautiful, and I’m pretty picky.
It could use another bathroom, but that should not be a big deal.
