We’ve always loved this house at 364 Washington Avenue: the extra-large lot, the front porch and, we now see from this new listing, beautiful original details on the inside. According to the listing, there’s still a little systems work that needs to be done so it’ll be interesting to see how the asking price of $2,095,000 goes over. This is definitely one of those situations where a buyer will fall in love, so anything could happen!

  1. The kitchen looks like one of those kitchens in some houses in Italy with no doors and everything on shelves. Plus the layout is a little weird.

Still, a nice looking house with a giant lot. How close is the hot sheets hotel that Mr. B is always complaining about?

  2. The wedding cake moulding is very pretty. I dont think you need 2 parlors. the windows on the sides of the building, are they facing a brick wall or something close???

not loving the kitchen, but then of course i wouldnt.

  3. Beautiful house but not that kitchen. Is it just unfinished- or is that the way it was designed? Looks like one room up top, and another below. For that sort of money they could have done a much better job.

  4. Truly an adorable house, but seems they are overshooting by a goodly amount here. From the floor plan, the top floor appears to be low-ceilinged or ‘attic-y’, there is no master suite and only one shared bath on the bedroom floor, and the kitchen needs some work. And while I certainly like Clinton Hill, it does have its downsides that some of the more pricey nabes do not.

I don’t know. Maybe needs to go south of 2 in order to generate serious attention. My guess is it’ll fetch around 1.85.

Would love to see the damn garden too.
