This brownstone at 59 Cambridge Place in Clinton Hill was on the market for a day in August, and then popped back up on the radar screen ten days ago with an asking price of $1,699,000. That price seems a little high to us, especially given that it’s only 17.5 feet wide; we’re also not really feeling the aesthetics on the renovated bathroom and kitchen. Still, it’s a nice block and the place is definitely in move-in condition, so maybe they’ll get close.

  1. Wierd the place looks so dusty/dirty. Look around the gigantic tv and then in the bathroom along the walls. All grotty. House looks nice, though. I’ll be astounded if they get that price but I hope they do.

  2. the overall reno looks quite nice but i don’t like most of their finishes, especially in the kitchen (too dark). thank goodness they used blondish colored floors. also, there’s nothing wrong with the price, should get close to ask.

  3. I think they’re using it as a one family. I would imagine they pulled out the kitchen appliances but maybe left them in the floor plan in case whoever bought it wanted to break it up into units again.

    Anyway I LOVE the kitchen.

  4. was gonna say the same thing as Snappy re: baths.
also, lower duplex has ‘parlor’ and a parlor and living room….no bedrooms.
third foor apt. has only ‘bedrooms’
Suspect it’s being used as a two family.
It’s not set up as an ideal 3-family.
