House of the Day: 43 Love Lane Revisited
Back in early 2007, when 43 Love Lane was a House of the Day, the carriage house replica had an asking price of $3,500,000. Needless to say, it didn’t sell. Now it’s back, and the asking price this time around is $2,500,000. We shall see.

mcKenzie, can you call em like you see em without being a douche?
The CVS truck doesn’t come any earlier than 9am due to restrictions put on the store by – I’m guessing – the landlord. And full sized tractor trailers can’t turn down Love Lane, Buttermilk is right about that. The one they get is still a big truck, but nowhere near as big as a semi. Love Lane is still a pretty street, I saw a guy propose to his girlfriend on the corner.
pigeon, you’re a rat with wings.
yeah whats wrong with baseboard heating?
BoerumHill,
Duane Reade menacing the neighborhood in CVS trucks… funny thought.
Thanks for balancing the acrimony of McKenzie with some good natured humor.
I should have directed my carpet-bombing onto McKenzie instead of the Moutarde awning.
BH you got your dick caught in your zipper again? You would think such a little thing would not get in the way.
I call em like I see em. Some perennial idiots on this blog live to denigrate the truly outstanding neighborhoods in the hopes it will somehow raise the stock of whatever fleabag resort they live in.

mcKenzie insulting other posters on Brownstoner.
In other news, the sun rose in the east this morning…
…
Going forward I’ll just say “See previous posts re: mcKenzie”
Another fine day at work, eh pard?
typical idiocy from the brownstoner rank and file who cannot understand why a property in Brooklyn Heights is worth more per square foot than a property in their sorry-ass dogpatch neighborhood in the boonies accessibly only on the G train (whatever that is) and then a fifteen minute hike.
This is a beautiful home inside and out. Love Lane and College Place are picturesque mews situtated in the heart of one of the richest and most prestigious neighborhoods in the city. You would think most people over the age of twelve would understand that it is not about baseboard heating or useless square footage in the urban margins but rather it is all about location. Some of you need to read real estate for dummies.

Is that true in Brooklyn Heights, that most houses are selling for under $1K per foot?
…
It is if you repeat it often enough.
Generally, under a $1K seems right…but 33 Willow Place and a couple houses on Garden Place (Byrne and Dockerty houses, forget the addys) were just over that. So primo BH (which this is not) might fetch it.
