House of the Day: 789 Quincy Street
This new listing at 789 Quincy Street has some very nice period details and an approachable price tag of $649,000. (It should also get some kind of bonus points for the photo of that bed!) Location, rather than house quality, will probably be the biggest hurdle: The brownstone is in the last block of Quincy before the Broadway boundary with Bushwick. Do you think the price is realistic for where it is?

Sorry, $550k tops. This house isn’t worth that price on any block of Quincy.
There’s at least two toilets in that house that, if I’m reading the floorplans correctly, don’t appear to have sinks.
Confusing.
Having that kind of bed, you can’t help but want to get nasty!
Much nicer houses west of this for similar price.
The layout is bad.
That bed is great. Refreshing change from the usual minimalist kind. And it does not have an upholstered headboard, which is even worse.
C’mon, everyone knows big bed = big penis.
Oh, just give it away; it’s in Bed-Stuy!! But as soon as the economy picks up and the currently hibernating “newcomers” show their faces, the prices would merit a big jump. right??
Now that I have gotten pass that bed (lol)….I don’t think the house will go for anything close to 649K. My guess is 615K.

Good Lord…that bed is huge! lol
Now that’s what I call getting serious about overcompensating…
