BrooklynGreene is probably not the only person who dislikes spindle work, but others, like me, are very fond of it. This house has two really beautiful examples IMO. No accounting for taste.
Also, if I’m out in my yard I can sometimes hear the whistle of the LIRR…right next to this house.

Looks well maintained, floors are nice, good layout and details. But on that block I wouldn’t consider it at any price… one of the more depressing blocks in CHN, no trees, looks out across an empty lot to atlantic ave, LIRR, and the heinously ugly Interfaith Medical building.
