Droolworthy to say the least. So much so that we won’t be surprised if someone steps up for close to the asking price of $3,795,000.

Gem, I don’t like it either. It’s FAKEY old time-Victoriana, not the real thing.
Check out Gavin Young Maloney’s new site at http://www.gavinyoungmaloney.com for the real thing.
That said, I like to mix it up too, not everything has to be period.
I’m in between gem and MM. I love the bones and original detail of the house but not the decoration. As much as I love antique furniture, this is too much- I like mixing it up. And i do love Bradbury abd Bradbury but this is too bland looking. I’d have to add more color. But nonetheless, it is one gorgeous house.
Delicious! Only thing confusing me is what’s going on with the upper left side of it? At first I thought the photo got chopped. Is that a chimney?
I feel all warm and fuzzy inside looking at these pictures.
I will criticize some of the furniture but much of it is very nice and certainly period. What I don’t like are the blue upholstered chairs in the music room and the William & mary “style” dining room furniture.
The kitchen isn’t really what I’d like but…
umm -I hope you guys don’t go nuts on me, but I don’t like it at all – it’s like WAYYYY over the top fancy pants, wood work coming out of wood work coming out of wood work
and the kitchen paint color and lighting is blech
it’s sorta like looking at the interior of the White house – sure there’s history there and the rooms have importance, but I wouldn’t want to actually LIVE in these rooms. There’s no comfort here… to me
I can surely appreciate why you guys do love it, but if I had 3mil I would never buy this place
I hope this building is landmarked… otherwise, it’s probably just going to be torn down and a Fedder building slapped up!
Move over kids, Mama found her new home!
Ok, would have to make a few changes, I don’t like the kitchen, but woah!
I’ve always liked this building, too. Park Slope has some of the best eclectic rowhouses. I guess money can give you that.
I will not be moving in anytime soon, due to lack of funds, but love this house!
Bob Marvin, is that the oak table and hanging Tiffany-style light you mentioned? Looks great!
I am blown away by the period furniture. This place is awesome. You almost never see places like this decorated extensively in period furniture. Looks great. Looks like too much house for me, but wish I grew up there!
