House of the Day: 455 Union Street?

Regardless of the address, it’s hard to see how they’ll pull off the asking price of $950,000.

Don’t know if I’ve ever seen an Average Reader Appraisal this far below ask. I guess they’re trying to prematurely cash in on the Gowanus cesspool-turned-Venice.

jester,
Not sure if it answers your question but $1mm is the threshold for the mansion tax.
So if this is someone’s idea of a mansion it’s slightly underpriced 🙂
It seems there’s been some HOTDs hovering near the $1 mil. mark that are not thought to be worth the price. Is thre a glut forming? The biggest sales alway have classic brownstone-y places on like 2nd St. in the Slope and various places. Is there some kind of psychological barrier to crosing/uderperforming the $1 mil. mark that keeps these places down? Makes me wonder.
That’s an easy bake oven.

Does HOTD now stand for for Hovel Of The Day?
That place is a polished turd. Except they forgot to polish it.
