Today’s House of the Day at 820 Jefferson Avenue in Bedford Stuyvesant has some incredible original woodwork in it but, at the end of the day, it’s hard to see how anyone will write a check for the asking price of $1,350,000. First of all, it’s only three stories; secondly, for that price in this area, you’d want the complete package and the kitchen and backyard leave a good deal to be desired. Still, we can’t stop staring at the photos of moldings, fireplaces and mirrors, so we guess it’s possible that someone will just fall in love and have to have it.

Who needs wheelbarrows when we have credit cards? Ahh, how modern technology shields the peasants from the reality that the banksters are making their money worthless!
You came a little late to the Ponzi party, 9:05. Someday it may get this price, when we’re pushing wheelbarrows of Jacksons to buy a martini!
The housing bubble is about to burst and this house will be lucky to garner 800.
I live, own and love Bedford-Stuyvesant but there is no way–given the location and size of the house–that this building will yield the highest priced sale in Bed-Stuy to date. No way. No way. Bed-Stuy will soon see regular sales in this price range but it won’t start here. Sad but true. Sorry
Me=A**hole
9:05. i hope you’re kidding because if not…you’re a true a**hole.
A beauty! But will NOT get the asking price. But as a soon to be Bed Stuy owner (in a week or so) – please keep pushing the prices up – who cares if the local constituents have no where to go but out of state – since NYC prices are pushing them out. All I care about is what my property is going to be worth in a few years – so I can flip it and move to back to Park Slope where I currently own nothing! Let’s Go, gentrification!!
