The only thing we can possibly find to criticize about this new townhouse listing at 104 Lincoln Place is the building width–and, at 18 feet, even that’s not too bad. Otherwise, you can check all the boxes: original detail, prime Slope location, nicely renovated kitchen. Maybe for some the double-duplex configuration is a negative, but for others. it’ll be a way to help swing the payments on the $2,390,000 asking price. Anyway, we think this’ll go pretty darn close to the asking price. You?

  1. According to ACRIS, it last changed hands in 2007 for $1.2 million. According to the OH thread, the same owner bought 104 and 108 that year and tried selling both within 6 months. Maybe with the market seizing up, the owner decided to go rental for a while.

From the photos it looks like a not-too shabby reno job, but who knows.

  2. Yeah I agree with 11217 – it does seem strange that it never moved – even at the high price of 2.9 in 2007 – perhaps the seller wants only cash or isn’t really serious about selling or that the deals fell through in the past b/c of the buyer – it could be a host of issues – but the house seems in very good shape – love the garden
