This single-family house at 4 Martense Court has a very charming parlor floor, which features lots of original architectural detail as well as a tasteful new kitchen; there’s also a private garage at the rear. While the address is definitely not as desirable as some of the blocks to the north like Rutland Road and Maple Street or those to the west in Victorian Flatbush, this block is reasonably attractive and quite close to the subway, all of which makes the asking price of $595,000 not seem unrealistic.

Nice. I like it. My sister lives two blocks north of here.
just sell that hummer and get a mini
The design of the garage made me wonder if it was shared between two houses–one side for one house and the other for the second row house. Still, great to have parking and there may be driveway parking for a second car.
It looks great but the listing says 2800 sqft and property shark list the interior at 1764 sqft and total lot 1957 sqft.
Bought for $570 in 2006 – not asking a lot for close to 5 years
The fact that it has a driveway and a 2 car garage is incredible here in NYC.
Yup. And if it were on West 10th Street in the Village it would be considered a “trophy” property by Corcoran, with a price tag of 18.595 million.
And it would get it 😉
Looks like great house. Does anyone know how the public schools around here are?
If it were on the other side of the park it’d be almost $3MM and there’d be no driveway. 🙂
