What’s the status of 25 Washington, aka Gair2, the 105-unit rental building in Dumbo? After launching in early May, the building is now 65 percent leased and 40 percent occupied. Another wave of move-ins come on July 1st, at which point the building should be more than 50 percent occupied. One-bedrooms start at $2,400 and two-bedrooms begin at $3,950. I find it a little depressing that people are willing to pay top-dollar to move into this neighborhood because everyone is like them, brand-new buyers, no older residents, no divesity, it is like the un-Brooklyn.
