Former Maternity Ward Sells in Greenpoint

Big sale for Greenpoint! The three-story former maternity ward at 484 Humboldt Street just went for $5,120,000. Built in 1928 and gut renovated in 2006, the building features 21 large loft apartments, some of which are duplexes. This property is right next door to a Karl Fisher-designed, 12-story rental tower that, as far as we can tell, never launched itself. (Or did it?) But plans for 484 Humboldt are unclear as of yet…Rentals? Condos? We shall see. GMAP
