Don’t have $3 million handy but like the idea of living in a brownstone in Park Slope? Then maybe this one-bedroom at 376 Bergen Street (between 4th and 5th avenues) is for you. The bedroom’s on the small side but thanks to an extra-deep building, the living area is 30 feet long. The south-facing apartment is also in nice, if not fancy, shape. Asking price is $385,000 and the maintenance is $617 a month.

  1. I am 3 blocks from the Belt Pkwy, I can be in the city in a half hour by car. I have the “D” at Bay Parkway and can be in the village in 45 minutes… no big deal.

…besides, I don’t go to the city often, been there, done that…(I’m old now)there are too many good things to do here in Brooklyn.

so that isn’t a major criteria for me.

My whole life doesn’t revolve around manhattan…

  2. I agree, broadwayron! I hate those cabinets with a passion. It’s the first thing I noticed when I looked at the pictures.

I think stargazer has a point. Though I understand 11217’s point about the monthly cost, and of course I haven’t seen the apartment as it seems shalman has, I wouldn’t pay this much for an apartment in the back half of a brownstone. At least give me a floorthrough, man, with light coming in at both ends of the apartment! This is basically a large studio, with a sleeping alcove.

  3. LOL, no Bath Beah is in Bensohurst…

easily accessible to everywhere with my car.

and about those cabinets from the 80’s with the SS fridge…..don’t think so…but I know, it can all be changed……

    I watch HGTV too…………
