Here’s an attractive two-bedroom in a prewar building across from Prospect Park for under half a million bucks. The 850-square-foot unit at 175 Prospect Park Southwest has nice architectural details, two real bedrooms and an attractively renovated kitchen. On the flip side, it’s on the second floor and faces the interior courtyard, not the park; there’s also only one bathroom. But, at $598, the maintenance is quite reasonable. What do you make of the $480,000 asking price?

  1. What was the last co-op of the day that didn’t have a subway tile backsplash in the kitchen?

2nd the value of stroller parking, especially in a place like this where door opens up directly into living area.

  2. cute apt. i prefer to face the park than the courtyard though.

nabe stretch is not by broker: he says it’s in windsor terrace. the stretch is on the part of brownstoner- WHY??

i dont have good sqft-radar or patience to come up with usable sqftage but i believe anyone that says brokers inflate size of apts.

  3. This classic building offers…..stroller parking.

    okay, what does that mean??
Is there a communal room to chain up strollers?

Cute apt. but lack of ample closet space is really a negative.
